Michèle
Hecken
President and CEO
The President and CEO, Michèle Hecken, holds a Master’s degree
in translation and interpretation and possesses extensive
experience in this industry. Her professional knowledge is
supported by university studies in Law and Economics. Michèle
founded the company in 1994 and her dedication and passion have
propelled the company from a home-based business into a global
enterprise with a close-knit managerial team and an extensive
network of professional translators around the world.
Her German roots have shaped Alpha Translations Canada Inc. into
a bilingual operation with strong links to clients all over
Europe. |

Tanja
Mueller
COO
Tanja began her career with Alpha Translations in 1998. She
leads the Projects/Sales Team and oversees the strategic and
daily provision of services to Alpha Translations’ clients.
Tanja received her education and training through a Management
Assistant in Retail and Commercial Sales program in Germany.
Along side Michèle Hecken, as Alpha Translations’ ‘first’
employee, Tanja helped shape the company into what it is today.
She enjoys working with a growing company and being faced with
new challenges on a daily basis. Tanja also enjoys the cross
cultural interaction involved with working in such a dynamic
company. |

Simone Riedner
Executive Assistant
Simone worked at RTL Television in Germany, after earning her degree as a Commercial Assistant for Foreign Languages. Her love for languages and travel had brought Simone to Canada where she found Alpha Translations Canada Inc. She has been a Project manager for Alpha since 2009 and is going to move over to the position of Executive Assistant in the coming months. We love having Simone in our Team!
